Addressing the Special Needs of Tad District
Students
At TadHealth School District, we recognize that
education is not one-size-fits-all. While many of
our students thrive within the traditional
classroom environment, we understand that some may
require additional support to meet their unique
learning needs. The SST process is a proactive
measure within our general education services. It
is designed to offer solutions and strategies that
are not exclusively linked to special education,
nor does it serve as a direct or automatic route
to special education assessment.

evaluated and identified as having a disability,
TadHealth School District provides specialized
services through an Individual Education Program
(IEP). These services are carefully tailored to
address and support each student's distinctive
educational needs, ensuring that every child has
the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Section 504 Coordination at TadHealth School
District
TadHealth School District takes pride in our
exceptional staff, who play a crucial role in
advancing our educational mission. We believe in
open communication and trust in our team to
address concerns collaboratively. When issues
arise, we encourage direct dialogue with the
involved parties to seek resolutions effectively
and amicably, often circumventing the need for
formal reviews.
At each TadHealth school, a dedicated
administrator is appointed as the School Site 504
Coordinator to assist with any inquiries related
to Section 504. Parents and guardians looking for
guidance or having concerns regarding Section 504
accommodations are encouraged to reach out
directly to the coordinator at their child’s
school for personalized support and assistance.
PBIS & SEL: Fostering Positive Behavior and
Emotional Learning
At TadHealth School District, we are committed to
nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment
where positive behavior is recognized and
rewarded. PBIS is a proactive approach that unites
our community—families, students, educators, and
staff—in creating a harmonious and secure
atmosphere for everyone.
Our mission is to cultivate a culture where
positive actions are celebrated, encouraging all
students to embrace good behavior as a cornerstone
of their educational experience. Through PBIS, we
aim to provide consistent support and
reinforcement, ensuring that respect,
responsibility, and positive engagement are
integral to our school environment.
TadHealth School District is dedicated to the
academic success and well-being of all students,
including those experiencing homelessness. We
recognize the importance of identifying students
in need to ensure they receive equal access to a
high-quality education and the necessary services
to achieve the same rigorous academic standards
set for all students in our community.
We extend our support to unaccompanied youth who
are navigating their educational journey without
the physical custody of a parent or guardian,
ensuring they have the resources and care needed
to thrive. TadHealth School District upholds the
rights of each student under state and federal law
and remains vigilant in our efforts to identify
and support unhoused and unaccompanied students
within our district. For assistance or more
information, please reach out to our dedicated
student support services team.
